About the Role
Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a Warehouse Utility Worker to support the Metro NY Warehouse team. This role involves hand-building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks, ensuring order accuracy, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks. The position requires strict attention to detail in picking, loading, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Hand-building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks.
- Picking and building outgoing orders with strict attention to accuracy.
- Unloading incoming trucks with strict attention to accuracy.
- Using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack to build loads from an electronic order system or order sheets.
- Ensuring accuracy in picking/loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation.
- Maintaining the stability of pallet stacking.
- Operating a powered pallet jack or forklift to move products to the picking area and build pallets or loads.
- Marking load tickets for out-of-stock items.
- Wrapping and staging completed pallets for truck loading.
- Submitting order documentation for verification before loading trucks.
Requirements
- Must be located in the Whitestone, NY surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis.
- Ability to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Must be able to work a minimum shift of Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is essential.

- Proven experience operating a forklift, including driving forward, reversing, lifting and lowering the boom, and maneuvering in tight spaces without damaging products
- Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets
