About the Role
This is a great entry-level position to obtain direct patient care experience. The Companion Observer provides supportive care to patients needing 1:1 observation for safety and behavioral purposes, ensuring safety through constant observation and assisting with therapeutic care.
Responsibilities
- Assures patient safety by constant observation.
- Assists with providing a therapeutic care environment and use of interventions.
- Collaborates with nursing staff regarding direct patient care and hygiene.
Requirements
- Must be present for mandatory orientation on January 5th, 6th, and 7th.
- 6 months of previous work experience in a customer service or healthcare setting preferred.
- No clinical experience required.
