About the Role

The Branch Banking Client Consultant I delivers front-line client service and transactional support by welcoming clients, identifying their needs, and performing teller functions and financial transactions accurately, efficiently, and in a friendly manner to support their financial goals. This role contributes to branch success by maintaining operational accuracy and risk standards, while also supporting sales performance through introductions, client education, and collaboration with branch teammates. This role exists to create a positive and trusted branch experience where clients feel supported, informed, and connected to the right financial solutions while their everyday banking needs are handled accurately and efficiently. The role also exists to support branch growth and service goals by balancing teller transaction execution, client engagement, timely problem resolution, and adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition.
  • Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
  • Provide positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner.
  • Deliver client engagement and education.
  • Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including introductions.
  • Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions, striving for no controllable preventable losses.
  • Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
  • Perform special projects and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards and complete required compliance trainings.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent education.
  • Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry (Preferred).
  • Action-oriented, enjoys working hard, full of energy for challenges, not fearful of acting with minimum planning, seizes opportunities, aggressively and enthusiastically pursues action to achieve results, possesses a sense of urgency.
