About the Role
The Senior Director, Managing Director – Country leads all business operations within a designated country, ensuring alignment with subregional and corporate strategies. This role defines and executes country-specific strategic plans, drives operational performance, and achieves financial, customer, and regulatory objectives. It requires collaboration with leadership to ensure strategic consistency, operational excellence, and compliance. The Managing Director represents the company at the country level in all engagements, fostering digital trust, innovation, and customer relationships. The role has significant P&L accountability and shapes the company’s reputation and growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all country-level operations, ensuring financial performance, revenue growth, and strategic execution.
- Leading cross-functional teams to implement corporate initiatives, optimize operational processes, and maintain a unified approach across commercial, operational, legal, financial, and regulatory activities.
- Building and maintaining strong external relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and local authorities, acting as the company’s senior representative in the market.
- Driving strategic planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting efforts for the country, ensuring alignment with subregional goals and corporate expectations.
- Championing a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, customer focus, risk management, and continuous improvement, ensuring the organization’s long-term success in the country.
Requirements
- 12-18 Years of experience in large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
- Acute business acumen and organizational awareness.
- Familiarity with project management approaches and lifecycle phases.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
