About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your skills and experience to help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects. You’ll develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful, working with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
- Support the assessment, design, development, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
- Use data to impact important missions, from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with data engineering, pipeline development, data science, data analytics, machine learning, or software engineering
- Experience with ETL operations
- Experience with source control and collaboration software, including Git or Atlassian tools
- Experience writing software in programming languages, including Python
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies, including SQL or GraphQL
- Knowledge of automation and scripting on Linux or Windows operating systems
- Secret clearance
