About the Role
Inspired Education is hosting a flagship recruitment event for the 2026/27 season, focusing on vacancies for the 2027/28 academic year. This event offers an opportunity to hear from over 30 premium schools, learn about Inspired Edge Academy, and network with educators and school representatives. On-the-day interviews and 1:1 meetings will be conducted.
Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing lessons and schemes of work in line with departmental and school policy.
- Teaching assigned pupils, maintaining good order and discipline, and registering pupils.
- Setting and marking work, recording and assessing progress, producing subject reports, and setting/marking internal examinations.
- Promoting pupil progress and differentiating for ability.
- Preparing pupils for external assessments.
- Providing extra support after lessons as deemed appropriate.
- Participating in school events such as open days, parent evenings, and staff meetings.
- Carrying out duties as deemed appropriate by the school's leadership team.
- Maintaining a tidy and attractive learning environment.
- Playing a full role in the life of the school, including sharing resources, contributing to displays, and participating in school events.
Requirements
- Teachers with experience or interest in working with British or IB curricula.
- Teaching couples and individual applicants are welcome.
- The drive to impact education within an Inspired Education school.
- A genuine passion for education, with the ability to engage, motivate, and positively impact young people.
- A track record of excellence.
- A depth of understanding in their relevant subject area.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
