About the Role

Actively is seeking high-agency, technically sharp Forward Deployed Engineers to collaborate closely with customers and ensure their success. This role involves a blend of engineering, data science, product thinking, and customer interaction to maximize the value Actively delivers to each client.

Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of onboarding new customers, including integrating with Salesforce and configuring the system for optimal results.
Conduct multi-week pilots to demonstrate ROI and guide customers towards full adoption.
Maintain ongoing customer engagement post-onboarding to iterate on performance and adoption.
Analyze data and model performance, investigate Go-To-Market workflows, and collaborate with engineering to enhance outcomes.
Develop tooling, workflows, and processes to streamline future onboarding and increase self-serve capabilities.
Collaborate directly with founders and product/engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions based on field feedback.

Requirements

Strong Python and SQL skills.
Familiarity with ML fundamentals.
Interest or experience in LLM-based products.
Ability to act like a founder, taking ownership to ensure customer success and unblock progress.
Excellent customer engagement skills, with a focus on understanding pain points and delivering value.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and achieve significant accomplishments.
Proven experience in hands-on delivery roles.
3+ years in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Data Scientist, or startup founder.
Experience working with enterprise customers or managing technical delivery.
Background in a high-growth startup or elite tech company environment.
