About the Role
Partner with the CFO to lead strategic and financial planning, focusing on investment for growth decision-making and financial modeling. Provide insights to cross-functional teams to improve e-commerce growth and profitability while achieving company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional business counterparts to develop annual business plans and analyze performance.
- Collaborate with key partners in marketing, operations, and analytics to develop business insights.
- Develop performance management presentations, narratives, and analytical material for senior management.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate key performance measures supporting strategic financial objectives.
- Actively monitor performance against plan and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-departmental leaders to define and measure ROI and build financial models.
- Assist in the month-end close process by reviewing accounts for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing materials for the Parent Company and manage communications and deadlines.
- Own the E2E forecast process across the business, ensuring adherence to the monthly calendar and timely financial submissions.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of overall experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience in a high-growth company in CPG, branded consumer, or retail.
- Expert-level proficiency with MS Office programs and planning tools.
- Exceptional modeling skills coupled with compelling storytelling prowess.
- Comfortable with being an individual contributor, manager, and everything in between.
- Ability to challenge more senior stakeholders on key strategic and operational decisions.
- Seamlessly capable of working and communicating with all levels of the organization within ONNIT and broader Unilever.
- A growth mindset backed up by a track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas, and smart risk-taking.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships for collaborative decision-making.
