About the Role
As a temporary parental leave replacement, you will be responsible for training and mentoring apprentices in the fields of industrial electrical engineering and electrical engineering for operational technology. You will play a key role in developing young talent and strengthening the partnership between BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH and Stromnetz Berlin GmbH.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct training for apprentices in Industrial Electrician (Operations Technology) and Electrician for Operational Technology.
- Impart knowledge and skills according to the current job profiles.
- Provide pedagogical leadership and support to apprentices, fostering their professional and personal development.
- Teach and ensure compliance with VDE regulations and occupational safety regulations (Occupational Safety Management System).
- Ensure compliance with health and environmental protection regulations.
- Review training records and maintain the apprentices' time management system.
- Prepare and explain training course and final assessments, and participate in disciplinary discussions.
- Prepare apprentices for intermediate and final examinations (Part 1 and Part 2).
- Maintain contact with departments, cooperative companies, vocational schools, parents, and other partners.
- Handle special tasks for training management and lead apprentice projects.
- Participate in training trips, study tours, and trade fairs.
- Engage in IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) technical and examination committees.
- Attend professional, pedagogical, and psychological further training measures.
Requirements
- Qualification as a technician, master craftsman, or comparable qualification.
- Initial professional experience in the relevant field.
- Trainer Aptitude Test (AEVO) qualification or willingness to obtain it.
- Pedagogical and didactic skills for effective teaching of theoretical and practical knowledge.
- High degree of assertiveness, empathy, reliability, and commitment.
- Strong social, communication, and teamwork skills, combined with a responsible work ethic.
- Fluent German language skills at a minimum of C1 level (mandatory).
