About the Role
Connection is seeking an IT Security Operations Manager in Glens Falls, NY, to oversee daily security operations, lead a team, and maintain a strong enterprise security posture. This role involves managing security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, threat hunting, reporting, and cybersecurity initiatives.

- Oversee daily security operations

- Lead and develop a Security Operations team
- Manage enterprise security tools including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and DLP
- Manage incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring
- Ensure cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance, including NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOX
- Manage security for Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365
- Work across infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills
- Experience managing enterprise security technologies and security operations programs
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
