Responsibilities
- Coach baseball at the Varsity, JV, and Modified levels as Head or Assistant Coach.
- Develop student athletes' skills, discipline, and understanding of competition.
- Emphasize teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and academic development at the high school level.
- Encourage maximum participation and focus on skill development and enjoyment of play at the modified level.
Requirements
- Must possess New York State Coaching Certification.
- Must have a Valid First Aid course.
- Must have a Valid Adult CPR certification.
- Must have completed the Child Abuse Identification workshop.
- Must have completed the School Violence Intervention and Prevention workshop.
- Must have completed the Dignity For All Students Act (DASA) workshop.
- Must have Fingerprint Clearance.
- Must have a School District Recommendation.
- Must pass a fingerprint-based background check at a cost of $102.50 to the candidate.
