About the Role
This role is a temporary, one-year parental leave replacement within the organic goods wholesale sector. You will be a key point of contact for suppliers, manage daily procurement to ensure product availability, and contribute to product and supplier development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers.
- Manage daily procurement to ensure product availability.
- Compare products and suppliers based on quality and terms, maintaining and developing the product offering.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on assortment adjustments and promotions.
- Monitor product profiles and quality standards in the warehouse.
- Ensure accuracy of advance shipping notices, goods receipt, and accompanying documents, as well as invoices.
- Handle purchasing-related claims.
- Maintain item and supplier master data in the ERP system.
- Assist with order intake and processing as needed.
Requirements
- Passion for organic products.
- Completed vocational training in wholesale and international trade management or a comparable qualification.
- Ability to quickly learn company-specific software (ERP and warehouse management systems).
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and basic English language skills.
