About the Role

As a Market Access Consultant, you will work on diverse projects addressing key challenges in market access, pricing, reimbursement, and medical affairs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for biopharmaceutical product commercialization and navigate healthcare systems. This role offers the chance to deepen your healthcare strategy expertise, support project delivery, and provide insights to help clients achieve their objectives. You will receive mentorship from a Project Manager and a Mentor for project and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and data collection on healthcare systems, stakeholder needs, and business challenges.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis to extract actionable insights on product value.
  • Support the development of engagement strategies for physicians, patients, payers, and policymakers.
  • Conduct interviews or moderate advisory boards with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare business presentations, communications, and training aids.
  • Leverage expertise in diverse country healthcare systems, stakeholder needs, and pharmaceutical industry capabilities.
  • Define recommendations and strategic implications to drive project conclusions.
  • Design, prepare, and facilitate client briefings, presentations, and workshops.
  • Prepare executive presentations, communications, and support material.
  • Actively develop and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Support business development efforts by drafting client proposal documents and nurturing client relationships.
  • Conduct payer interviews and lead projects involving qualitative primary research with US payers and healthcare providers.
  • Develop or refine US-specific payer value propositions or map US Market Access pathways for new/innovative products.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of consulting experience.
  • Expertise in Market Access, pricing, and reimbursement.
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system across all books of business and payer landscape.
  • A strong academic background, with a combination of science and business degrees being an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and relationship-driven mindset.
  • Structured, results-oriented working style adaptable to dynamic environments.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus; Japanese is highly desirable.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. work eligibility required).
  • Ability to work in the NYC office a minimum of 2 days a week.
  • Experience conducting payer interviews and leading projects involving qualitative primary research with US payers and healthcare providers.
  • Experience with client engagement and running client meetings.
  • Experience developing or refining US specific payer value proposition or mapping our US Market Access pathways for new/innovative products would be highly desirable.
