About the Role

Provide Operations Management cover and support across the RISE portfolio, assisting with vacancies, additional support needs, or challenging recruitment periods. Support the Central Operations Team in delivering high-quality management services for clients and occupiers through operational assistance, implementing health and safety systems, and promoting best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Savills obligations within the Property Management Agreement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Understand landlord objectives and create property management plans.
  • Ensure adherence to occupier lease agreements.
  • Develop relationships with Landlord representatives and provide formal reports and communication.
  • Communicate and liaise with all occupiers, soliciting feedback for service improvement.
  • Manage and support Estate, Property Management, and Technical Service Teams, including welfare, training, and discipline.
  • Oversee service charge budgets and management accounts, ensuring client approvals and adherence to lease obligations.
  • Deliver Estate/Property standards through property management teams and Annual Action Plans, coordinating security, cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, and events.
  • Conduct regular audits of the Estate/Property, including Datastation, SEMs, and physical inspections.
  • Ensure the Health & Safety of occupiers, visitors, and staff through established emergency procedures and safe working practices.
  • Oversee the production of service specifications, contracts, and documentation.
  • Oversee the delivery of long-term costing plans.
  • Manage Service Partner contracts, including specification, tendering, and ongoing management.
  • Develop continuous service improvements through new initiatives, technology, and action plans.
  • Drive change and ensure targets are met in accordance with Client aspirations.
  • Advise the Site Lead of any potential threats, major incidents, or accidents.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Network and engage with the wider Savills business.
  • Establish and implement best practices and safe working practices.
  • Ensure clear communication lines with all relevant parties.
  • Attend compulsory internal training courses and identify training needs.
  • Attend internal meetings as required.
  • Work weekends/bank holidays on a rota arrangement if required by the site.

Requirements

  • Performance and people management experience.
  • Experience of leading and embedding Health and Safety within day-to-day operations.
  • Experience at supervisory/managerial level in providing maintenance services in a busy public environment.
  • Experience in management of security, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  • Experience in administration of detailed record-keeping systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of service charge and RICS code compliance.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt style.
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working patterns.
  • Ability to use full range of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • First Aid qualifications.
  • Experience in liaising with Police, Fire, and Government Enforcement offices.
  • Formal IOSH/NEBOSH Health & Safety qualifications.
