About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, directing, and completing construction projects, ensuring client satisfaction and financial success.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing vendors and subcontractors.
Maintain extensive client contact.
Ensure project documentation compliance with industry, project, and company standards.
Estimate additional scopes of work.
Assist project team members with software and tool usage.
Liaise with field supervision.
Layout, design, and manage drawings and documents in Procore and other software.
Attend project meetings.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and closeout documents.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-3 years of project manager experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical contracting/engineering.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
Practical knowledge of construction.
Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore) and the Microsoft Suite.
Practical knowledge of construction processes.
Renewables experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to travel to local jobsites.
