About the Role
This role involves working on diverse building engineering projects for commercial clients, contributing to the design of critical infrastructure that supports the digital age. The position offers opportunities to learn about all aspects of the building engineering industry, working concurrently on multiple projects in various design and construction stages.
Responsibilities
- Work on a large variety of projects associated with engineering building systems for a variety of commercial projects.
- Work concurrently on multiple projects that are in various stages of design and construction.
- Be an important member of the mechanical team, receiving mentorship to support growth and development.
- Work with and learn from several of HDR's subject matter experts throughout the company.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Attention to detail.
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
- Prefer 3 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of BIM, and IES VE.
- Past experience working in an Engineering consulting firm.
