About the Role
IK Partners is seeking a Capital Markets Off-Cycle Analyst for a full-time, 5-month internship starting in January 2027. This role offers significant exposure to the firm's business and investment activities, providing an overview of all deal-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with financial analysis, modelling, due diligence, structuring, and documentation for LBO financing.
- Monitor existing portfolio companies' financing.
- Investigate market trends in debt capital markets, including private debt, leveraged loans, and high-yield.
- Assist with presentations and database maintenance.
Requirements
- Relevant academic focus in finance, economics, or engineering with an excellent track record.
- Prior work experience of at least 6 months through internships in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, M&A advisory, or strategic consulting.
- Capital Markets or Leveraged Finance experience is a plus.
- Financially literate with an analytical mindset.
- High level of attention to detail.
