About the Role
As an Elite Security Officer Shop Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to retail store clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
- Monitor access points, receiving areas, and restricted locations; verify authorized entry and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
