About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school district procedures, directing guests to appropriate offices or designated areas.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and completely while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
