Responsibilities
- Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry.
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses, and obtaining signatures.
- Performing tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Must be able to travel to numerous sites.
- No set shifts or schedule.
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities.
- Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
- Military experience a plus.
