About the Role
The Head of Banijay UK Social Studio will lead a 15-person team, defining and delivering the department's strategy in line with editorial, creative, and commercial goals. This role involves optimizing the archive, creating digital content, and producing marketing campaigns, requiring strong communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Banijay UK Social Studio team output and work with Senior Producers to ensure appropriate resourcing across projects.
- Monitor and interpret department data to create actionable insights and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Manage the Social Studio Budget.
- Collaborate with other business areas to align Social Studio output with business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to maximize the team's success and growth.
- Serve as the primary contact for high-level communication with senior leadership, production labels, broadcasters, and social media platforms.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of rights and compliance restrictions across BUK IPs.
- Foster a creative and collaborative working environment for the team.
- Communicate the departmental strategy to the Banijay UK Social Studio team.
- Provide line management for Senior Producers.
Requirements
- Proven senior-level experience devising and running large-scale creative social strategies against editorial and financial KPIs.
- Extensive team and people management experience.
- Ability to interpret social media data and insights, translating them into meaningful learnings and recommendations.
- Capacity to educate and influence non-digitally native stakeholders at all business levels.
- Experience managing large-scale budgets.
- Working knowledge of the social media monetization industry and digital rights.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms and audience engagement strategies.
- Demonstrable success in building online brands and nurturing digital presence for linear TV content.
- Strong network within the digital industry, including social platforms.
