About the Role

The VP Shared Transactional Services leads and manages the end-to-end processes for the Corporate Finance Shared Services Function, driving effective and efficient service delivery. This role oversees Payroll, Accounts Payable, Disbursements, Treasury Operations, and Business System Analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies training needs and assists in developing individual training plans.
  • Assists individuals in identifying potential future roles and creating development plans.
  • Develops succession plans for team positions and the VP role.
  • Prepares the annual budget for Shared Services areas.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance to team managers for timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Directs all practices and policies for the function.
  • Leads the establishment and responsibility for customer service levels.
  • Ensures service levels are measured, communicated, and reviewed with customers.
  • Manages timely and effective troubleshooting of customer service issues.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving service levels, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Directs the development and review of standard report production and exception monitoring.
  • Collaborates with Business Partners to determine reporting needs.
  • Establishes and maintains a strong internal control environment.
  • Implements processes for adequate segregation of responsibilities.
  • Develops and leads a monthly close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and supported transactions.
  • Coordinates with VP General Accounting for timely General Ledger postings.
  • Drives continuous improvement, leading the team to identify enhancements for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Standardizes, streamlines, and automates processes.
  • Manages key vendor relationships for the function.
  • Complies with CPG’s standard vendor management processes and policies.
  • Manages internal and external audit reviews and requests.
  • Serves as the lead contact for the functional area.
  • Assists in Company-wide projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven track record of process change management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials or similar toolset.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
  • General knowledge of accounting as it relates to the Shared Services functional areas.
  • Extensive use of a computer keyboard is required.
  • Must maintain a professional, compassionate, and trustworthy work environment.
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must complete required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
  • CPG does not sponsor visas.

  • $230,000 - $265,000
