About the Role
The Quality Sampler is responsible for sampling, labeling, documenting, and maintaining raw material samples and retain samples in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and cGMP requirements. This role provides general laboratory support, maintains accurate records in SAP, and helps ensure raw materials and retain samples are properly handled, stored, and submitted for testing. The Quality Sampler supports the Quality organization by maintaining organized sampling and retain areas, ensuring sample traceability, and assisting with laboratory and material testing activities as qualified and assigned. The position is also expected to actively support workplace safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Sample, label, document, and maintain raw material samples and retain samples.
- Provide general laboratory support.
- Maintain accurate records in SAP.
- Ensure raw materials and retain samples are properly handled, stored, and submitted for testing.
- Maintain organized sampling and retain areas.
- Ensure sample traceability.
- Assist with laboratory and material testing activities.
- Actively support workplace safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
Requirements
- 0-2 Years previous experience in a laboratory, quality, warehouse, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with SAP or another electronic inventory or quality system is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical, laboratory, or quality-related coursework preferred.
- Ability to follow written sampling instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling, documentation, and sample handling.
- Basic understanding of cGMP, laboratory practices, and material traceability.
- Ability to maintain organized records, work areas, and sample storage locations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter and retrieve information in SAP.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely handle materials, laboratory glassware, tools, and supplies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with sample movement, storage, and retain rotation.
