Provide temporary assistance in a lab setting, supporting faculty and students with lab operations and ensuring a safe and organized environment.

Maintain clean and safe facilities, including organizing materials and supplies.
Perform minimal clerical duties.

Prior food service industry experience.
Hold a valid food handler's certificate or food manager certification and must maintain its validity at all times.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
Requires long periods of standing and walking.
Wear a black long-sleeve chef coat (provided by the department).
Wear durable pants (denim is acceptable; athletic pants are not allowed).
Use non-skid shoes for safety.
Hair must be pulled back when working with food.
Jewelry is limited to a plain wedding band; permanent facial jewelry must be removed in compliance with the Culinary Arts Code of Conduct.
Earbuds (corded or wireless) are not permitted while on duty.
