About the Role

As an AMNOG-focused Manager, you will be at the forefront of strategic pricing and market access consulting for innovative pharmaceuticals. You will work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple cases in parallel with a dedicated team specialized in AMNOG strategies. Join a rapidly growing team and business unit within Simon-Kucher’s life science practice.

Responsibilities

  • Develop national launch pricing strategies for innovative pharmaceuticals, reflecting the specific market environment and requirements in the German Health Care Market.
  • Support pharmaceutical companies in developing and executing the optimal strategy to manoeuvre through the AMNOG process (incl. HTA process and price negotiations, without dossier writing).
  • Act as a thought leader driving meaningful analysis as well as preparing and leading strategy workshops to prepare clients for the AMNOG process.
  • Perform as a responsible project manager coordinating all project workstreams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Engage in business development activities to grow the AMNOG practice at Simon-Kucher.

Requirements

  • University degree (master’s degree in business/economics/health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, law or similar).
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the field of pricing and market access for innovative pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven experience in strategically manoeuvring innovative pharmaceutical products through the German AMNOG process.
  • Experience with AMNOG benefit evaluation: G-BA’s code of conduct, IQWIG, Key AMNOG dossier requirements.
  • Experience in preparing national price negotiations with the GKV-SV according to §130b SGB V.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and in English, both verbal and written.
