About the Role
The Shift Supervisor provides direct care services with added authority in the absence of the cottage supervisor. This role ensures direct care staff adhere to individualized resident plans and models the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) with a focus on skill-building and behavior principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care services.
- Exercise authority in the absence of the cottage supervisor.
- Ensure direct care staff adhere to individualized resident plans.
- Model and support the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM).
- Carry out the functions of the ITM to best serve the population.
- Function as part of a team.
- Model pro-social behavior.
- Build positive relationships with all residents.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of child-care experience at a residential treatment center or juvenile corrections facility.
- Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, taking into account varying clinical needs of each youth.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail skills.
