About the Role
This is a part-time sales assistant position with opportunities for increased hours based on business needs. The role involves representing the brand, creating a positive retail environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Take in product details and relay information to customers.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Represent the brand to create and maintain customers.
- Advise the Store Manager, Designers, and Buyers on customer comments and feedback.
- Create an innovative, unique, and customer-friendly retail environment.
- Adhere to health & safety policies and security procedures.
- Be proactive in loss prevention by organizing the stockroom and maintaining procedures.
- Check stock daily for adequate stocking, ticketing, sizing, and availability.
- Discover customer needs through open questions and product knowledge.
- Understand and utilize the returns policy as a selling tool.
- Engage in ongoing education regarding the company, reports, products, and local retail business.
- Maintain a friendly telephone manner.
- Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude and cooperate with teamwork.
Requirements
- Available to work weekends and one additional day per week.
- Positive, enthusiastic approach to the Jackman Brand.
