About the Role
Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist to join their team. This role focuses on helping children with special needs develop skills for greater independence and an enhanced quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
- Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
- Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
- Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
- Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and report on progress quarterly.
- Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
Requirements
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH
- Experience working with students with autism preferred.
- Experience programming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices.
- Bilingual is a plus.
