About the Role
As a Sales Engineer II, you will ensure customers successfully integrate with the CLEAR1 platform, focusing on the Healthcare vertical. You will collaborate across Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer challenges and influence platform development for scalability. This role is for a technically skilled individual eager to impact customer and developer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead presales customer engagements, including technical discovery, product demos, use case demos, RFPs, solution and integration scoping, and proof-of-concepts.
- Drive customer integration for enterprise-level customers by building reference applications, prototypes, and architecture diagrams.
- Develop code samples, integrations, and applications to demonstrate best practices and minimize customer development time across various languages and frameworks.
- Support customers throughout the presales, proof of concept, and integration processes, assisting with common coding issues, patterns, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain public and internal documentation to help scale the team.
- Act as the internal and external expert in the integration and usage of the CLEAR identity platform.
- Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer feedback and new product features are incorporated into the roadmap.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the Healthcare industry and apply this knowledge to identify new opportunities for CLEAR.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solution engineering, or solution consulting role.
- 2+ years domain experience in the health systems or healthtech domains.
- Demonstrable understanding of the full SDLC, common application architecture patterns, and experience with developer tooling.
- Experience working with APIs, as well as web and mobile technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to distill complex technical details to layperson terms.

- Excellent development experience with one or more full-stack technologies, including web or mobile front-end and supporting back-end(s).
