About the Role
The Techline Crew Foreman manages and supervises all tasks associated with distribution line work, including pole work with climbing gear, bucket trucks, or ground operations. This role oversees Construction Groundmen, Operators, and Linemen, inspecting work, equipment, and sites to ensure job specifications are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct people, equipment, and resources.
- Ensure sufficient deployment and productivity of work.
- Organize and coordinate daily activities of all crew members and resources to keep project on time.
- Ensure company/rented equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained, and used effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
- Adhere to company safety and health policies.
- Some travel required.
Skills
- Able to adapt to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather.
- Able to meet physical requirements including standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, and lifting 70 pounds.
- At least eight years in the power line construction business, with three being journeyman lineman experience and foreman experience preferred.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- At least one year driving experience required.
