About the Role
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for overseeing accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting HR Operations functions including auditing, compliance, reporting, and employee data management. This role requires a collaborative team player adept at detailed tasks and maintaining precision.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly and semi-monthly multi-state payroll processing, ensuring accuracy of time reporting and data integrity.
- Maintain accurate payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Ensure accurate calculation, withholding, and submission of federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll.
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and implement improvements.
- Work closely with HR to ensure timely updates on employee changes.
- Manage HRIS data for accuracy and provide regular and ad hoc reporting.
- Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2s and ACA.
- Assist with employee data, payroll, and benefit audits.
- Manage regulatory filings such as EEOC and worksite reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office, HRIS, and benefit databases.
- Experience with Paycom is a plus.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented.
- Must have excellent follow-through.

- Must be reliable with adherence to confidentiality.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable with high-pressure work.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
