Responsibilities
- Examines damaged vehicles and plans repair processes.
- Communicates vehicle repair status with team members.
- Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
- Determines whether to repair or replace parts based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Removes vehicle components to access damaged areas.
- Participates in required safety meetings.
- Grinds, sands, and files repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
- Supervises and guides apprentice technicians.
Requirements
- Ability to use a frame machine.
- Certification in body repair preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturer vehicle repair processes.
- I-CAR welding certification.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
- Ability to supervise repair personnel.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
