About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Coordinator in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will provide a welcoming presence while monitoring access, greeting visitors, managing visitor procedures, and communicating security-related concerns. Help maintain an orderly environment through attentive observation, professional service, and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment, following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, manage visitor sign-in processes, and communicate arrival information to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor front desk access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation while providing clear communication and professional support to clients and guests.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
