About the Role
OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Manager - Purchasing. This role leads purchasing operations and demand planning activities to support enterprise material needs, oversees regional and national purchasing specialists, and establishes forecasting processes aligned with operational requirements. Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize inventory strategies and improve procurement performance.
Responsibilities
- Leads and manages purchasing specialists, including workload coordination, performance management, and development.
- Oversees purchase order execution, transfers, and stocked purchasing activities to ensure operational continuity.
- Develops and maintains aggregated demand forecasts and item-level demand plans aligned with project and branch requirements.
- Identifies and aggregates material and service demand across internal entities to support forecasting and supplier planning.
- Analyzes forecast data and market intelligence to adjust planning assumptions and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Establishes processes for forecasting governance, inventory optimization, and supplier alignment.
- Monitors purchasing and demand planning performance metrics and implements corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, or procurement operations required.
- 2-4 years of experience leading purchasing teams or coordinating team workload required.
- Experience developing forecasts, demand plans, or inventory strategies required.
- Experience using ERP, procurement, or forecasting systems required.
Experience Level

Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
