About the Role
Digital Media Management (DMM) is seeking a Social Content Producer to join the Talent division on a project-to-project basis. This role focuses on on-the-ground social-first ideation and content capture, acting as a liaison between social producers, clients, and production, while leading talent and social content strategy.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality social media content using an iPhone, including photos, short-form videos, Stories, and Reels.
- Capture authentic, on-brand moments in real time, with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and platform-specific content formats (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Build meaningful relationships with day-to-day clients, partnering with them to understand and identify their business issues, strategies, initiatives, priorities and expectations.
- Lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of the project including management of timelines, deliverables and logistic.
- Provide creative solutions to achieve the client’s objectives and ensure your team member has what they need to complete the tasks at hand.
- Create & maintain relationships with talent and production onsite, being a resource for social media strategy and optimization.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working in social media in a content capture and/or strategy position, entertainment preferred.
- Experience working with public figures and/or in production.
- Experience in social media analytics and reporting.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills, able to read a room and pivot quickly as needed.
- Ability to develop and maintain timelines, strategies, and the many moving parts of a campaign.
- Experience capturing content for short form video such as TikTok/Reels, editing in real-time on an iPhone for social media using apps such as CapCut, Edits & InShot.
- Must be located in the NY tri-state area.
- Applicants must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- This position is limited to U.S.-based employees for payroll and compliance reasons and is not eligible for international remote work.
