About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be the central technical interface for the expansion of new locations, responsible for the proper planning and implementation of charging infrastructure. Your focus will be on the technical evaluation, coordination, and implementation of electrical engineering requirements, from site inspection to the installation and commissioning of charging stations. This role is ideal for electrical engineers who want to take responsibility for the technical aspects of site expansion, dive deep into the company, and develop professionally and personally. You will oversee the complete technical process of site expansion, from the initial site visit and electrical feasibility study to commissioning, gaining in-depth insights into the technical and strategic contexts.
Responsibilities
- Technical planning, inspection, and implementation of site expansion (including charging stations)
- Evaluation of on-site electrical conditions and coordination of installation and commissioning
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., VDE) during planning and implementation
- Technical coordination with electrical contractors, grid operators, and other external partners and service providers
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for systems and locations
- Ensuring smooth technical processes during project implementation
- Identification of technical improvement potentials and independent development of solutions
Requirements
- Completed degree or apprenticeship in electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Organizational talent and the ability to manage multiple topics and locations in parallel
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards and regulations and interest in infrastructure projects in the field of e-mobility / charging infrastructure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in common tools (e.g., Excel, project management tools)
- Very good German language skills, English is an advantage
- Initial experience in charging infrastructure or site expansion is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
