About the Role
The Guest Services Representative is primarily responsible for providing courteous and respectful customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner. This role involves assisting patients and guests, transporting patients, wheelchair recovery, wayfinding, coordinating transportation, maintaining clear patient loading zones, assisting with traffic control, and being knowledgeable about medical center resources. The position will have limited access to the electronic medical record for viewing patient room numbers and appointment locations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, etc.
- Transporting patients
- Wheelchair recovery
- Wayfinding
- Calling taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles for patients and visitors
- Keeping patient loading zones clear
- Assisting with traffic control
- Being familiar with medical center resources
- Limited access to the electronic medical record to view patient room numbers and appointment locations
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
