About the Role
Rye Country Day School is seeking a Boys JV Squash Head Coach to lead the Upper School team. The role involves planning practices and competitions, fostering an inclusive environment, and ensuring athlete safety.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Head Boys JV Squash Coach for the Upper School
- Plan and organize practice and competition calendars in conjunction with Athletic Director and Staff
- Create an inclusive, exciting, and challenging environment
- Collaborate with the Director of Squash in planning and communication
- Maintain a safe environment at all times
- Communicate with athletes, parents, coaches, and opponents professionally
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-years successful high school Boys Squash Coaching experience
- Passion for athletic competition and ability to motivate and inspire athletes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community
- Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and patient
- Support RCDS mission to foster a lifelong passion for learning, understanding, and service
- Share commitment to creating and sustaining a vibrant, thriving, and inclusive multicultural learning community
