About the Role
Rye Country Day School is seeking a Boys JV Golf Head Coach for the season from March 22 - May 28. The role requires availability Monday - Friday, 3pm-6pm during the season.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Head Boys JV Golf Coach for the Upper School
- Plan and organize practice and competition calendars in conjunction with the Athletic Director and Athletic Staff
- Create an inclusive, exciting, and challenging environment daily
- Collaborate with the Director of Athletics and Head Golf Coach in planning and communication
- Maintain a safe environment at all times
- Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, coaches, and opponents
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-years successful high school Boys Golf Coaching experience
- A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive school community
- Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and patient demeanor
- Support the school's mission to foster a lifelong passion for learning, understanding, and service
