About the Role
We are looking for an organized, hard-working, and passionate Assistant Chef to join our team at Hollymount Primary School in Wimbledon. You will be responsible for ensuring nutritionally balanced and tasty food is provided to students, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, and upholding excellent customer service and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all planning, preparing, and cooking of meals to the required standard.
- Ensure the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers.
- Brief kitchen teams on menus and service.
- Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously.
- Carry out company bookwork.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
