About the Role
This position supports the Vice President International and University Development in coordinating priorities and activities, and plays a key role in developing and implementing international academic partnerships, teaching collaborations, programmes, and strategic initiatives. It serves as an interface between academic and administrative units and international partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate ongoing international teaching collaborations, including lecturers and communication with academic partners.
- Support the development and coordination of international academic projects and cooperation formats.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of UE’s Internationalisation and Sustainability Strategies and related strategic initiatives.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis on international higher education, academic structures, potential partners, and relevant international developments.
- Provide academic and organisational support to the Vice President International in day-to-day activities.
- Maintain project documentation and monitor responsibilities, deadlines, and next steps across ongoing international projects.
- Prepare briefings, presentations, background information, and decision-making materials for the Vice President International.
- Support further academic and strategic projects within the portfolio of the Vice President International and University Development.
Requirements
- University degree at Master’s level or equivalent in social sciences, humanities, international relations, education, management, or another relevant field.
- Previous professional experience in higher education, international academic cooperation, university management, or project coordination is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently on new topics and to coordinate projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to structure complex information and prepare concise briefings, presentations, and decision-making materials.
- Structured, proactive, and reliable working style with a high level of independence.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.

Skills
- Strong analytical, research, and organisational skills.
- Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and intercultural skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with academic staff, university management, and international partners.
- Good command of Office 365, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
