About the Role
Ensure the secure operation of IT and OT systems and protect them against cyber attacks. Monitor security-relevant events, assess vulnerabilities, and initiate technical and organizational measures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the secure operation of IT and OT systems and protect them against cyber attacks.
- Monitor security-relevant events, assess vulnerabilities, and initiate technical and organizational measures.
- Obtain external service provider expertise in-house.
- Collaborate closely with IT, OT, QA, and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS2, GxP) into operational security processes.
- Assist management in preparing and executing measures to strengthen security awareness in business units.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for innovation, development, and optimization of central security technologies (network, IAM, Endpoint, PAM).
- Support colleagues in detecting, prioritizing, documenting, and escalating cyber security incidents.
- Contribute to the continuous development of security operations processes and playbooks.
Requirements
- Reside and be registered in Germany (main residence).
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the cyber security field.
- Possess at least one relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, ISO 27001, SOC, Incident Response certificate).
- Fluent in German (at least C1) and proficient in English.
