About the Role

The Africa-China Initiative (ACI) requires a part-time Program Assistant to support the ACI Program Director in managing the initiative's programming. This role involves organizing and advertising events, administering grant components, facilitating communication with collaborators, and acting as a liaison between the ACI and various university offices and partner institutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in technologies and applications related to the position, including Google, MS Office, Canva, Mailchimp, and Zoom webinar hosting
  • Website content management (WordPress preferred) and social media experience
  • Strong organizational, time management, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
