About the Role
As a Principal Product Manager, you will shape Nasdaq's product roadmap and drive innovation in the Capital Markets Back Office, leading product development from inception through delivery and engaging with customers on strategic opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product strategy across the full product lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional projects spanning engineering, design, testing, and demonstration to deliver scalable, customer-aligned product solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business and market opportunities, developing business cases, and go-to-market strategies.
- Translate customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis into actionable product requirements, roadmaps, and prioritization decisions.
- Partner with functional leaders to provide timely updates on product performance, resource needs, and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee feasibility studies, field trials, and profitability analyses to inform investment decisions and product direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in product management or a related discipline within technology or financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across global, matrixed organizations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
- Proven track record of managing complex product programs with multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- Clear, executive-level communicator with experience presenting to cross-functional and senior leadership audiences.
- Experience with US Fixed Income in Post-Trade-Processing and Accounting functions.
