About the Role
The Life-Safety Systems Division (LSSD) of the NYPD ensures the continuity, maintenance, and technical support of critical public safety communications, electronic systems, and broadband infrastructure. The selected candidate will be assigned to Payroll/Clerical Functions for the Life-Safety Systems Division, processing overtime slips, making adjustments in City Time, and maintaining Department records.

Requirements
- Permanent in the Civil Service title of Clerical Associate
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
- One year of satisfactory clerical experience
- Ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Must complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire
