About the Role
As a Deployment Engineer at Maxima, you will be responsible for getting customers live on the platform. You will collaborate with Account Executives, conduct technical proofs of concept, build necessary integrations and custom modules, and tune AI prompts and models to meet specific customer accounting requirements. You will also be the primary point of contact for resolving production issues.
Responsibilities
- Work with Account Executives on complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Run technical proof-of-concept processes and present tailored demos based on customer and business needs
- Lead technical discovery calls and write the implementation scoping document for each customer that launches with Maxima
- Tune prompts and models to get the right AI performance for each client
- Build integrations to transaction systems such as revenue, billing, and accounts payable, and the custom modules customers need to go live
- Partner with product and engineering to deliver on customer requests and advocate for customer needs
- Troubleshoot, debug, fix, and upgrade software for reliable performance in production, and support deployed solutions over time
Requirements
- 2 or more years in forward deployed engineering, sales engineering, implementation engineering, or solutions engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working directly with customers
- Experience working with Account Executives on technical sales processes for enterprise customers
- Proactive, highly motivated, and able to handle the intensity and pace of a startup
