About the Role
Doppel is building the future of social engineering defense with an AI-native platform that protects against AI-powered threats. Responsibilities
- Own the onboarding of enterprise customers as effectively and with as little touch as possible.
- Work directly with enterprise customers alongside GTM and Product to understand onboarding needs, scope and prioritize technical solutions, and build end-to-end systems for integration.
- Lead the technical direction of the FDE team while remaining hands-on with complex integrations and strategic deployments.
- Turn field learnings into reusable capabilities to expedite future deployments.
- Lead FDE technically, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, unblocking projects, and raising the engineering bar.
- Own strategic deployments from technical discovery through production rollout, identifying friction, scoping solutions, and driving engineering work.
- Build end-to-end solutions, architecting, building, and debugging across APIs, webhooks, SIEM/SOAR platforms, identity systems, email infrastructure, and the enterprise security stack.
- Identify patterns across customer deployments and turn bespoke solutions into reusable product and platform capabilities.
- Build systems, automation, and internal tooling to make customer launches faster and easier.
- Create a feedback loop between customers, GTM, Product, and Engineering to influence product development.
- Develop judgment on what FDE should build, what should graduate into core product/platform, and where to partner with other engineering teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Technical leadership experience, including setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.
- Experience working directly with complex enterprise customers to uncover technical needs and scope production systems.
- Comfort working across APIs, webhooks, identity and authentication (OAuth, SAML, SCIM), and enterprise infrastructure.
- Ability to recognize patterns across customer needs and determine when to create reusable product capabilities.
- Ability to cut through organizational and technical blockers to get things done.
- Ability to chase down missing context and create processes to move customer problems from ambiguity to production.
- Strong technical judgment and communication skills.
- Excitement to use AI to change how technical customer work is done.
