About the Role
As an Outside Car Buyer at Fenix Parts, you will be responsible for locating and visiting car dealerships, tow yards, and automotive auction companies to generate new buying opportunities. Your role is crucial in expanding our vehicle inventory to supply top-tier parts to customers and partners, contributing to the automotive recycling revolution.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and locate new potential buying opportunities relating to car dealerships, tow yards, and auctions.
- Upload new vehicle inventory into the yard management system.
- Prospect and hunt for new potential business opportunities beyond company-provided lead lists.
- Implement professional communication and negotiation skills when working with current and potential targets.
- Use past automotive knowledge and experience to accurately assess the value of towed vehicles.
Requirements
- Corporate automotive background preferred.
- Basic automotive knowledge.
- Requires up to 100% daily travel, primarily within one hour of the set location.
- Must have reliable personal transportation for use during shifts.
