Join our Audit & Assurance team in Sydney as a Director, leading major audit portfolios for Global and Private Market clients and contributing to the strategic direction of the practice. Responsibilities

Lead major audit portfolios across Global and Private Market clients.
Drive the strategic direction of the practice.
Oversee delivery across your portfolio.
Guide teams through key decisions.
Ensure quality, compliance, and professional standards are maintained.
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Support engagement economics.
Identify opportunities to strengthen service across accounts.
Influence client outcomes, team performance, and consistency of delivery.
Help create an environment for strong work and continuous development.
Mentor future leaders.
Help the practice grow sustainably.
Deliver audit and assurance services that help clients navigate complexity with confidence.
Lead diverse engagements.
Bring commercial insight to complex situations.
Contribute to a practice focused on quality, trust, and long-term client relationships.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in external audit.
Strong experience leading complex audit engagements and overseeing multiple teams.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders.
Commercial awareness, including managing engagement budgets, delivery outcomes and performance.
A track record of mentoring Managers and developing high-performing teams.
Strong judgement in audit quality, risk management and engagement oversight.
The ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
CA qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification.
