About the Role
As Legal Counsel, you will provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and support across Gamma's UK Service Provider business, focusing on the service. You will work closely with the General Counsel and a wide range of stakeholders to manage legal and commercial matters in a fast-paced technology and telecommunications environment, with a particular focus on commercial contracts.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice and support on a broad range of commercial and operational matters across the business.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including customer, supplier and partner contracts.
- Supporting the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of contract templates and legal processes.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across management, sales, product and other business functions to enable commercial outcomes.
- Identifying, assessing and managing legal and commercial risks while supporting business objectives.
- Delivering clear, practical and solution-focused legal guidance to colleagues across the organisation.
- Supporting the General Counsel with a variety of legal, regulatory and governance matters as required.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the technology and telecommunications sector.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent legal qualification).
- Experience in a legal role in relevant industry (ideally Telcom).
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Experience providing commercially focused legal advice to a variety of business stakeholders.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across multiple functions.
- A pragmatic and balanced approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Pass a basic DBS check.
